Hundred of mourners have lined the streets of Hyson Green to say goodbye to Aqib Mazhar. Knife crime continues to plague Nottingham as city stabbings have gone up by a quarter in the past year. Stabbings in the city rose from 80 to 99 up until this June while stabbings in the rest of Nottinghamshire increased by 18 percent from 39 to 46, the Post can reveal. Last month alone, there were nine stabbings the city and five in the wider county.
