The girlfriend of a motorcyclist who was killed on the A52 says she hopes the prison sentence given to his killer will warn other drivers of the dangers of using a mobile phone while driving.

Man jailed for six months over West Bridgford cash machine scam
A man has been jailed for six months after admitting his role in a scam which involved stealing trapped cards from cash machines.
Petko Petkov, 39, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to a charge of going equipped for theft when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday, June 1).
Petkov must also pay a £115 victim surcharge and magistrates made a forfeiture and destruction order on the seized items.

Family stranded on M1 after nails left in village road
A family's tyre deflated while travelling down the M1 after being punctured by nails police fear were deliberately left lying in a Nottinghamshire village road.
Earlier this year, two warnings were issued by officers over an 'ongoing' problem of people leaving nails and screws on the roads in Mulberry Way and Damson Way in East Leake.
