A drunk man was jailed for at least 23 years after killing his partner and repeatedly stabbing a friend who intervened in a family argument.
Pawel Lupa, 40, was sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court after being found guilty by a jury of the murder of Aleksandra Mrozik, his partner of 20 years, and the attempted murder of a friend, 32-year-old Wojcek Bocek, on July 16 last year.
