A man has been arrested after a series of cable thefts caused severe delays to train services in Nottingham.
The 35-year-old was detained by police on suspicion of theft on Thursday, after a warrant was issued in the Bulwell area.
He was arrested in connection with a series of thefts from railway lines – which caused huge delays to a total of 331 passenger services and 27 freight trains.
