Aaron Dovey had a kitchen knife hidden up a sleeve as he sat in the Three Crowns pub on Upper Parliament Street, Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard.The knife had been spotted, police were alerted and found him in the pub where he told them: "I carry it because I keep getting beaten up."Details were given by David Miles, prosecuting, as Dovey admitted having a large kitchen knife in a public place on April 5.
