A man who bit two Nottinghamshire Police officers was left facing a £580 bill and the threat of jail.
Dylan Broadley, 19, sank his teeth into the pair because he thought they were wrong in arresting him in Victoria Road, Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard.
PC Daniel Weaver ended up with a bleeding right hand and was awarded £200 compensation from jobless Broadley, of Chandos Street, Netherfield.
